Frequently Asked Questions

  • How many can I order?
    A minimum order of 15 cards is required (100 calling cards, 25 holiday cards). Cards are not sold in “sets”, so please order the exact quantity desired (17, 26, 84, etc.). Some designs purchased at a small quantity may require a set-up/cutting fee determined by the design; please inquire.
  • Should I use a color or black and white photo?
    Both color and black and white images work well. Color images can be converted to black and white at no additional charge. Some images may require cropping and color/brightness adjustment. An additional fee of $15.00 may be applied if extensive image alteration is required.
  • How do I get my photo to The Paper Rabbit?
    A digital image file, using the highest resolution possible, produces the best results. An ideal size is 1200x1600 pixels, or 4x6 inches at 300dpi. The file must be JPG, GIF or TIF format. Pictures taken on film and processed onto a Kodak Photo CD are not high resolution and will not print well. Please do not size the image before sending. Email your digital file to info@thepaperrabbit.net after submitting your order. Place your customer name in the subject line. Digital files will not be returned.
  • What if I don’t have a digital camera?
    Original images may also be mailed to The Paper Rabbit for scanning. This also produces great results, if the image is high quality. Original images will be returned with the order. A fee of $10.00 per image will be charged for more than three images on one card.
  • What if I want to use more than one typestyle?
    More than one typestyle can be used on any design at no additional charge. Most items can be printed with any of the typestyles shown. Many more typestyles are available, so please inquire. All Inscribe designs have specific typestyles; please inquire.
  • What if I want an ink color that is not on the list?
    Many more ink colors are available at no additional charge; please inquire. Any item, printed on white or natural paper, can be printed with any of the colors shown on the ink color page.
  • What ink colors can I use on the colored paper?
    Black, chocolate, taupe and gray ink is recommended for items printed on colored paper. .
  • What if I need to cancel my order?
    If you cancel or change your order, you will only be charged for the work that has been completed prior to cancellation or changes.
  • What if I want ribbon on my card?
    Any card can have ribbon. Cards with ribbon are $20.00 per 25 cards. Cards with ribbon are unassembled. The ribbon is cut to size, the holes are drilled and an assembled card is provided. The customer assembles the card. Customer may request assembly for $30.00 per 50 cards. Customer may also request drilled holes and no ribbon for $15.00.
  • When will I get my order?
    All orders will be shipped in 3-5 business days (M-F). Orders received about 12:00 pm PST will be entered the next business day. Holiday orders must be received by December 6, 12:00 p.m. PST. During the Holidays (mid Oct-Dec) allow up to 6-8 business days. Remember of factor in shipping time for delivery.
  • May I have rush service?
    Rush orders received by 12:00 p.m. PST will be shipped within 2 business days; allow 3 business days if order has a special enhancement (glitter, ribbon, drilled holes) for an additional service charge of $25.00.
  • May I have a proof?
    If requested, an e-mail proof is available at no additional charge. A fee of $10.00 will be charged if an additional proof is requested. All subsequent proofs are $8.00 each. Once the proof is approved the order will be shipped in two-three business days.
  • May I get my envelopes printed?
    Return address printing on the back of the envelope is $0.25 each. The same typestyle and ink color will be used.
  • May I have additional envelopes?
    Standard envelopes come in natural and white. Two additional envelopes are included with each order. To order more envelopes add $0.25 each for plain envelopes and $0.50 each for printed. Upgraded envelopes are available; please inquire.
  • Can I get advanced shipping of my envelopes?
    Envelopes (plain or printed) can be shipped in advance for an additional charge of $6.00 plus shipping costs. Allow one business day for plain envelopes and two business days for printed envelopes. Printed envelopes are $0.25 each.
  • What if I need to re-order the same design?
    A 15 card minimum is required for most re-orders (Some simple invitations, birth announcements & holiday card designs are allowed a 5 card minimum). Some cards may require an additional net cutting/set-up fee; please inquire before placing order.
  • What if I have an error on my card?
    Please review your order very carefully! All error on our part will be re-done Rush and Shipped 2nd Day Air at no additional cost. Errors made by the customer/dealer will be re-done at 25% off the original price plus shipping costs.
  • How will you ship my order?
    All orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. You may also request USPS Express Mail. Please state your preference clearly on your order form. Orders can be shipped to any residential or commercial location.
